Luang Prabang in Laos is not a big city, but it is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Luang Praband was the capital of Laos until 1560. Then it became Vientiane. The city has 33 Buddhist temples and monestaries. The old royal palace is open to visitors. Wherever you go in the old part of the city, you pass several temples. Since our hotel was located in the city center, we could hear the monks ringing the bell. Every morning at sunrise, the monks make their rounds and the townspeople distribute food to them. They live on these alms. They passed our hotel. This photo is my entry to @photofeed contest @photofeed/photofeed-contest-street-photography-round-65
