The Divine Order (DO) packs from the previous weekend ranked event finally got distributed to the players yesterday. After a few fun quick matches on my Twitch stream, me and my friends decided to finally open some packs. To my delightful surprise, the very first card from the 3 DO packs I received happened to be a Diamond 💎 colored card, the highest quality there is. This is my first ever diamond card. You can see my reaction in this short Twitch clip on ;).
I immediately went to Tokentrove to check what a Diamond Sage of Renewal was going for. The lowest price at that moment was around $80. Not bad for play to earn.
I'll share the rest of the cards I received in the images below and elaborate a bit on which ones I think will be useful for me when building and adjusting my decks.
In the same pack that I received the Diamond, I also received a common Gold card. Though this was a nice bonus, I don't think I'll be using any of these cards in my decks soon. I'm still struggling building a good Death deck.
From this set, the Prisoner Exchange card is something I may use when building an Order-based Deception Deck. Getting a second copy of the Rabid Bear will also be handy to add in my Wild Nature deck.
Finally, the last deck gave me some interesting cards. Tenderizer is a card I may add in my War deck, in case the match goes into a late-game stage. Getting another copy of Piercing Bolt for my Deception deck will be useful against the armored creatures that are appearing more in the current meta, especially against the Giant Pangolin and Guild Enforcer. Voracious Fiend seems to be an interesting card I may try in building a Zombie Death deck.
⚔The next weekend event starts tomorrow [Friday, December 3rd]. Let's see how well we can do this time with the new balance updates and starting in Mythic ⚔.
