Time is free, but it’s priceless.
You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.

Truly, time waits for no one and time wasted can not be recovered. The time you must have used to achieve a particular thing and you didn't, you realize you have to sacrifice a time you would have used to do something else trying to make up for the one you lost.
There's time for everything and for everything there's a season says the scriptures.
Seasons too are important, there's need for us to always venture into seasons of doing things, certain things can't just be done if it's season is expired. How do I mean?
Using education as an example, some children never went to school. Maybe because of financial constraints, parental beliefs (not every parent see's the need for education even in our present age though the percentage is very much reduced), unavailability of school in communities and whatever factor there could be. As these children grow and perhaps saw the need to be educated, they can decide to go to school.
Let's assume that they are at the age of 18 and above, such child can never go back to begin schooling from creche because definitely the child won't fit, that season had passed.
This scenario is likened to real life situations, there are aspects of things and opportunities you'll miss and can never recover it again because the season is over and even if another opportunity will come, it would take a long while and you probably may grow old by then.
