I guess you've been wondering what am I up to lately? Why am I not sharing much about my life like I used to before? Or why am I not writing regularly anymore? Well, it sucks to say that I have nothing much interesting or adventurous to share these days. I'm not traveling or going outside and I'm just working as hell as usual. And I'm sure you don't want hear work rant all the time right? And I don't feel like offloading my diabolic thoughts and stress y'all constantly. I'm actually in self-improvement mode these days just trying to stay optimistic, relaxed, and full of hope. I'm just finding ways to have more positive outlook and more positive things to share here in this community. I'll just leave work stuff at work and make Hive my life outside work.

To be honest, I've been spending so much time indoors. It is much safer and peaceful, and besides it costs a lot to socialize, travel or even just go outside for a bit lately (gas, food, etc.). Soon enough it will cost to breathe air too. This is exactly the reason why I've designed my tiny house to be a comfortable living space where I'll no longer feel the need to escape and get away from. I guess you can say that I'm the exact opposite of who I was many years ago. I used to be outgoing, adventurous, and outdoorsy type of person - maybe it's my age? Maybe I've become more misanthropic? Maybe I'm that crazy old cat lady witch people warned you about? Maybe... but I don't care. My life right.

Oh by the way, I forgot to post about my birthday last month. I did go on a boat tour just for me to have something special to do on my birthday and I ended up celebrating with a bunch of strangers. It was great and fun. And that was it for my socialization this year. I'm back inside.

We grow out of things and I feel like as we get older we value more and more of our personal space, comfort and privacy. I guess everyone is different. I feel like this is me now. Life indoors does not have to be bad and depressing though. This is the part where you'll have more opportunities to be creative. There's no room for boredom around here.

While I still have a job (I don't know for how long anymore because they are asking us to go back to the office and I won't move to the big city of course...), I'm thinking of getting more art supplies and doing something creative during my free time. I think I need some kind of art therapy and be busy or find meaning outside work. So yeah, my art stuff are gonna be my topic for Hive posts soon. I guess instead of ranting here and making people unhappy, I'm just gonna channel my darkness into art and share it here. But mind you, it's not gonna be flowers and butterflies, you know me. :)

I'm not an artist and my art talent is very limited so don't expect something professional here. But with all these emotions I do feel like channeling it all into something creative and shareable and it will be more like an art therapy for me. When I was feeling down and needing people, my best friend who passed away used to tell me that a person should have a craft. It makes sense. We need to have something else. Something else in our lives apart from work, families, responsibilities, and relationships. Something we can fully immerse ourselves into and make the time fly. Something we can be truly passionate about.

So I guess I'm gonna enter a new era in my life. But so far I can say that I'm doing great sticking to healthy indoor routine outside my remote work schedule - exercise, art stuff, cooking, playing with my cat. It's all great for my mental health. And while once in a while I go outside to do some proper outdoor stuff (like snorkeling or diving). I might not go out all the time but when I do, I make sure it's gonna be a full on adventurous physical activity. Anyway in a couple of months it's gonna be rainy almost everyday again so I might as well make the most of this sunshiny days while I can.

Oh by the way, how are y'all?

Just celebrated my birthday by being less diabolic and staying outside for a bit. :)
