Its a dry day
the wind howls
the trees sway
the loose-house top clatter and clang
the open window shuts with a bang.
awakened when an old man walked in.
reflection of me he was.
drained and sucked by the troubles of life
"IM SORRY" he said
as my heart pulsated a rhythm
off-beat with pains own scintillating pace
and i could only trace those thoughts when i wished he could come back home but he never got home
silence filled the room
"forgive me" he begged
my heart can never forgive
i watered it with hatred
night and morning with tears
and sunned it with loathe
and i know it wont forgive, i silently said
he was waiting for me to say a word
my heart spoke in anger
"nigga you were not there
left promising to come back
never had a clue that you wouldnt"
"the pain you made me feel
the situation,just unreal.
the pain is already numb.
all the awards i received
how i wish i could hear ur clap
how i wished to be tucked in bed n kissed goodnight,
do you know i got pregnant at the age of 16?
i have a child
my mothers bestfriend is the father
nigga u never got home when i needed u" my heart cried out
the room was so tense by the silence
gave him a loook
choking on pain
i finally managed to speak for the first time
"you never got home when i needed u but now that you home watch me walk away"
