How would having a hunky mer-man in a unitard make it any worse?

If you think one personification of the thing is stupid, it would make sense to think they both are. If you think one personification of a coin collecting mer-pirate is the bees knees the other version shouldn’t get you into a twist. If you don’t care either way about a mermaid you shouldn’t give AF about a merman.

The double standard is tiresome.
