Good Day Everyone
In the past I had expected myself not to be a regular member in this community, and somehow here I am now here as one of the people who post frequently here, in mildly infuriating community lol. It feels weirdseeing people who regularly post here, as if they have their lives full of misfortunates... and then realizing I am one of them lol
So my story today is about my brand new phone...
I just bought this new phone, VIVO Y500. It has everything that I need, starting from big capacity battery, 8100 mAh. I do not have to regularly charge the phone or bring a power bank with me. So this should be a good feature for me.
Then this phone has a military grade shock resistance and IP 69 dust and water proof. Those make this phone as a good fit for my daily activities, regarding I walk outside a lot, visiting construction yards and dusty environment.
So have you wonder, why do I get infuriated by having this one? The price? well it is a pricy for m, $340 is not something I could spend easily. I will pay for the toll later, by having have to save up my meal budget and travel budget. But that is not the reason why I feel infuriated, I know something good must come with the right price...
So for some of you might guess half right... because it is a 4G phones and right now we are already in 5G era. Not completely wrong, but it is not the right answer. I know it is 4G phone, however my working or day job activities mostly in 3G and 4G area... I am not working in central business district or high tech area... so getting 4G phone is one of my way to get some price saving. I know well a good 5G phone would cost me a lot higher.
Why I get irritated and infuriated... because people are praising my new phone. They are happy seeing I leave the stingy frugal zone, becoming more like a decent people or what most people should do... owning a good cell phone. Not some cheap one that makes people think I am a bimbo.
The truth is... I just lost my smart phone a couple days ago. I could not access anything, my clients could not reach me, I could not reach anyone, all my works are late and over due. These two days gave me massive pressure, I had to coordinate with my team using conventional phone, even my mail got blocked too when I blocked my missing phone through find hub.
So yeah... I get infuriated because people, all of them, are only thinking about I get a new phone... I am not happy with it because I have to pay $340 for it, and my workload is ridiculous right now because I have to catch up with those missing two days.
But that's people anyway... They could not see, or maybe do not care about what really happen... They care about what they see in front of their eye... I have a new phone, then I should be having some extra money and spend it for an upgrade... and they keep talking as if it is what happened for real lol...
