Today I will continue making articulation mechanism for the piston and do a quick test fit. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam!
Today I will continue making articulation mechanism for the piston and do a quick test fit. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam!
Articulation mechanism
The goal for this modification is that sort of 'pac-man' shape pla plate. This will become clear when I test fit it with the thigh later.
I am going to need 2 sets of these for each piston. And as you can see the size is pretty small. The background there is 1 cm x 1 cm.

Moving on
Slowly I trim the pla plates until it become that 'Pac-Man' shape I want. I then clean the surface a little bit to remove any bumps using file and sanding stick.
Test Fit
Here is a quick test fit on the progress of this piston with its articulation.
That 'Pac-Man' shape pla plates will be cemented on the backend of the thigh later.
I will still need to cement the details to the piston before doing that since I still haven't done the connectors for the bottom leg and piston.
And so this is my updates for today on this Devil Gundam x Neue Ziel Project.
