MARTABAK

Have you ever heard or tried martabak? Martabak is a typical Indonesian snack. I think this snack comes from the city of Bandung, West Java. It is widely sold in Indonesia, especially in the city of Jakarta which is the capital city. Usually this food is sold at night. However, there are some shops that also sell it during the day but not as much as at night.
Martabak consists of 2 types, namely egg martabak and sweet martabak. Martabak eggs usually use duck eggs for the mixture. While the sweet martabak has more variants. There are flavors of chocolate, cheese, nuts, milk, etc. You can also mix it, for example, milk chocolate martabak, peanut chocolate, cheese chocolate, etc.
SWEET MARTABAK
This time what I want to talk about is sweet martabak. A few days ago I ordered martabak through the Shopee application. I ordered the mixed peanut cheese chocolate sweet martabak.
This martabak is a heavy snack. Why did I say that? Because just eat a piece we will feel full. The outside of the martabak alone is very thick and chewy, not to mention the filling which consists of chocolate cheese and nuts.But even so, it tasted really good. My favorite is the chocolate cheese sweet martabak, but this time I added peanuts.
What is the price of martabak?
The price of martabak varies greatly depending on the type. Usually from store 1 to another store there is also a price difference. For this order the price is IDR 41,000 or USD 2.88. But because there is a voucher discount from the shopee application, so I only paid IDR 21,400 or USD 1.50 for 1 box of martabak.
