Life is a never ending learning process

Hello, friends especially needleworkers!

I started to learn crochet recently but i was suddenly in love with it so in my free time i usually try to do the crochet, in order to help me exercise with the tension and practice my fingers to do the thing because it was a new thing for me. But i really like to learn, learn everything new always make me still alive or you could say more alive than before. I remember one of my lecturer ever said, make study and learn as a good escape, but for me study and learn always make me hungry for more knowledges and skills even it made me more than just alive. Instead of satisfy, usually learn and study make me hungry for more and that's the meaning of life, right, as for me life is a never ending learning process. It is quitely true because even when you have a new thing you should learn about it and you would meet new things whether you realize it or not. Right?

Now i would like to share to you all about my attempt in trying make the half double crochet. I used the big diameter yarn with wool material and the 8 size of embroidery hook.

First, i started by making the X on my left hand with the yarn i had. Then i turned my hand, i would found two vertical yarns after that i took the yarn with the hook to make the slip knot.

Then after the slip knot had made, i crocheted 12 chains.

I took the yarn with the hook then pulled it through the 3rd chain from the latest chain. Pulled through 2 holes of the yarn, two times. Then the half double crochet was made up.

Until i reached the opposite side, then i chain two. Then i also did the same thing i did before to make the double half crochet.

Continue the process until half for the second row. Here were the half double crochets i made.
