Hello, friends especially foodies!

Recently when I went with my working team to Bandung, before we went back to Jakarta we had visited a small restaurant to try their shake noodle. Shake noodle or in Indonesian, Mie Kocok is a kind of noodle that made by shaking it and it famous originally came from Bandung, West Java, that is why before we going home we wanted to try this original famous dish.

When we reached there it was almost 7 pm. The sky had already dark and the restaurant looked so modest from the outside. The name of the restaurant was Mih Kocok Bandung “Mang Dadeng” or if it is translated became “Mang Dadeng” Bandung Shake Noodle.

Inside the restaurant, it was so modest and had no air conditioners. The tables were not many and they were modest too. We sat on a table that could be enough for all of us and we only added a chair to it so that it could be enough for all of us.

The menu that this place had were shake noodle with marrow which was sold out, original shake noodle, beef leg soup with marrow which was also sold out, original beef leg soup, meatballs and chicken feet noodle, meatball noodle, meatballs and chicken feet yamin noodle (sweet taste), meatball yamin noodle, meatballs and chicken feet, and also meatballs. They also sold some kind of chips there too.

Let’s check how did them taste.

First I would like to tell you about their MIH KOCOK (shake noodle).

The shake noodle had no broth soup which was awkward cause it supposed to be have broth in it. The texture of the noodle was chewy and soft but it was really only a little portion. They also put the cow’s leg part and meat which were soft and quite tasty. But they put too much bean sprouts on our noodle which was yuck. With no broth and only light savory flavour, we decided that it was a horrible shake noodle that we ever tasted.

Then let me tell you about their MEATBALLS

Their meatballs were tasty in savory flavour. It had chewy soft texture. But it also served with no broth soup. But it was okay, I still could enjoy their meatballs and i put it on my mih kocok.

No I don’t recommend this place for you to find MIH KOCOK!
