Hello, friends especially foodies!
Today was our country's independence day and this month many restaurants have special package to celebrate it, one of it we had for the lunch yesterday.
The restaurant where we had the lunch was located on 1st floor FX Sudirman.
It had a quite dining area which was located inside or outside, outside was in the mall area. Inside were a bit crowded when we came so we chose the table outside.
The menu they had
They had two special packages for the independence day which only sold this month. You could compare to the real prices, i also took a pictures from their menu.
We ordered all of the food we ordered to be put in take away single boxes.
Then after waiting for 15 minutes, the first dish came, it was gado-gado.
It contained many vegetables such as cabbage, beansprouts, lettuce, spinach, boiled potato, fried tofu and also sliced cucumber. They also put rice cake, belinjo chips on top and also tasty peanut paste. The gado-gado tasted fantastic, it had savory a bit sweet and spicy paste which was so tasty. The vegetables were so fresh. And also the rice cake was soft. All really delicious!
The second dish came, it was timlo solo.
I also ordered a rice to accompany it. Timlo Solo contained pindang egg, chicken and also sosis solo. This was our first time trying the timlo solo, you could also put the sweet soy sauce, spicy chilli paste and lime on it. We added the sweet soy sauce and also chilli here. So it had savory, spicy and a bit sweet flavour. It was also delicious. I recommend you to try both of these indonesian dishes.. Really tasted great!
