Last Thursday, was a public holiday in Indonesia so My mom and I decided to go to the nearest small city near Jakarta, Bogor. Bogor is famous with the alias name, Kota hujan or rain city in English. We went there in the morning around 9 am to Bogor.
There weren't many people in the MRT.
First we went to Sudirman station by MRT from Istora Mandiri station.
After 7 minutes of MRT riding, we arrived at Dukuh Atas MRT station. The MRT station is located very near to the sudirman station where we would take a train to go to Bogor.

After waiting only several minutes, the train arrived then we took it to go to Bogor. The train was a bit crowded when we rode, but some people got off before the Bogor station so I could get a seat then.
2 hours journey to go to Bogor then we arrived in the Bogor Mayor Oking Station. Then we started the culinary experience in Surya Kencana Street (Bogor's Chinatown)

Then we went sightseeing there to the factory outlet in the same street
Then, we ate again. This time we wanted to try the legendary mi kocok (stirred noodle).
The noodle tasted a bit too smooth and soft for me. But I like the meat and also urat sapi which tasted so smooth and tender. The soup was savory.
Then we also ordered the ronde for the dessert and also otak-otak for the appetizer.
The otak-otak and also the peanut paste tasted so delicious so that we also bought some to bring home.
Before went to another place, I bought oleh-oleh for my co-workers at work. I bought chocolate talubi cake. It was a cake made from taro.
After went to Surya kencana, we went to de voyage. A place like a small European village where we could take many pictures there.

The entrance ticket was sold here. A ticket price was 35,000 IDR for a person.
We needed to save our stuffs like food and drink here.
Then we could get in. First thing, a staff there took a picture of us as a welcome in front of the eiffel. But if we want to get the photo, we need to pay after we finished our visiting to this place.

They built the area like small Europe. Beside Eiffel, they also had the love bridge, canoe, manneken pis and several buildings with old european style. We could ride the canoe there with extra payment. There were also indoor game.
After tired taking some photos here. We went to padjajaran street. We went to some factory outlets then had an early dinner before going back to Jakarta.

What we ordered:
Mom ordered toge goreng (fried bean sprouts). One of the authentic Bogor's dish.
Mine was rice with krecek masak santan, cumi cah cabe (squid with chilli), and also soy sauced tofu.
The dinner was not too ok. Mom didn't finish her dinner. The taste was not as she expected. Mine was a bit better, the squid tasted savory and a bit spicy, the krecek tasted tasty and the tofu tasted sweet. But in my opinion all the food weren't spicy enough for me.
Then after had finished our dinner, we went to the station to go back to Jakarta.
