Ever since I got myself into the indie games, It's been pretty interesting journey finding out various types of the games that are out there. I always check the humble bundle for new indie games and this time however while checking it out I came across one free game: Seven: Enhanced Edition
For those who already played Seven: The Days Long Gone other game, I am sure you may have heard of it and also are familiar with the gameplay. This game just happens to be the remaster version of the previous game.

This falls under more or less progressive RPGs but with a lot different view considering this is one of those Isometric view games. And the way this game has made it's way among the community, I'd say it's worth the remastering efforts that have been done on it so far.
Unfortunately, the free offer on the humblebundle and gog no longer exists as that was pre-new year offer. And now they do however offer the 77 percent discount for those who want to play the remaster version.
So let's take a look at the review.
Best part about the game is that it is remastered and graphics has been improved a lot. Something you will definitely put some attention to.

While navigating your way around you will find the different era like graphics shown in the game which is kind of hard not to appreciate. They have done all the hard work and the graphics is pretty impressive the way it is going on. A lot of places in the map you would feel like playing in a bit of modern crisis level of the world. Something which is often difficult not to notice as you find your way across the game.
You may find the UI a bit cluttered at first which is kind of common when it comes to many such games which have similar game controls type. However on the gameplay side you wont notice much of the issue and getting used to the various controls and finding your way around and doing the work to move ahead seems to be not so bad part about the gameplay.

Spending few hours playing the game it can get a bit easier navigate around. Apart from the simple gameplay you would also appreciate the flow of the game. And the way you have to move ahead one level after another.
Sometimes it's better to break the bad news first. And you need to know that there are some issues with the game too. For those who have played similar games in this category, you would find that battle AI is a bit troublesome and you would find yourself painful some of the time.
The game tends to make you more explorable instead of combating more. And so you will feel like the game has more of benefit with stealth level approach of the player. Which is not bad but sometimes you learn this after playing the game makes your experience a bit hard.
And at some point you would also find that exploratory nature can get you slow progression in the game which is kind of bad if you have time constraint while playing the game.
You will love the graphics. I did mention that isn't it? They have paid a lot of attention to the detail while making maps. They know which era is being in question for this game. And they have adapted into the levels. You will just love the graphics.
You will also love the character progression while you are moving slowly into the game. There are lot of things stuffed into the game and as you slowly progress your way around, things just get a bit difficult if you ask me. For those who like similar type of game, a nightlong of gameplay would finish it if you are that much pushy.
If you are into this type of the game, then definitely go for it. I am sure you would not regret playing it at all.
