Market is behaving very badly. Each token is getting hit on hive and so do the blockchains outside the Hive. And that has caused many curators to quit the Hive rewards and they are shifting to the personal tokens.
So this week I am on some of the changes to my portfolio. I am giving up on the delegations that does not give me Hive rewards. Answer: Simple, I need Hive not tokens.
I recently gave up the delegation to the India Community as they stopped the rewards in the Hive and instead moved to their own IUC tokens.
I can't put myself accepting any such tokens as they may lose the value once the market is up as those tokens would go up on massive sell fast as market corrects.
Another change I made to the portfolio is I am in process of giving up some tokens. Like LBI, I would be moving to CL and also UTOPIS is gone for me so I am moving to the BRO. Also I am INDEX fan as usual. So that is one more token to hold as well.
Why such gardening and culling as they say? I think that is because we invest into a lot of tokens that don't give better returns instead our holdings get wasted and so does the time. So I am trying to clean up some of those lose ends.
I have yet to regain the old delegation power back. But once I get it back I have choice to make. So the quorator and the psyberx are two of my options. I may also find more options if getting the curation rewards is my focus goal from this point onwards.
Once that settles up, my game with powering up would continue as usual too. I have to reach 100 USD worth of HBD savings to go for as well.
That's the case for now. I have to keep on climbing and keep moving ahead slow and steady if that lets me make some good growth as well.
If you are struggling a lot on Hive. I'd recommend the taskmasters plan of 500 comments. And also writing regularly on the tribe of your choice. I think that is a good direction to pick.
That's it for this week. I hope to do a bit more if the things go well with me. I have lot of delegation and the token rewards adjustment to be made next year. But we don't know how the market is going to be and how we would be sustaining either. So let's wait for things to settle.
