YouTube has a monetization option but sometimes it does not earn you good enough. So you have to keep on exploring and improving. And then there are other options like TikTok, facebook, instagram and others.
Facebook turns out to be doing a lot of extortion in order to get free content on platform. And does not even earn good income for the creators. Which makes you wonder if it is worth it.
Imagine youtube just wants you to have 1K followes and 10k Min for the monetization. But facebook on the other hand wants you to have 10K followers which takes like 1 year or 2 years to even acquire for new users. And meanwhile facebook earns from free content.
They also have higher threshold for the income options. Like 10k follows, 50k engagement and so on. Some of those limits are not good. So you have to think of the ways to get over those limits and think for the threshold of income.
You think of reaching those threshold and it would take you years to even go there. Which kind of makes you worry that your content is being freely distributed and you earn nothing on facebook which is kind of true. You would hate to see this.
Looking at youtube, reaching those would not be that hard but on facebook it would take forever. And like reaching those min for the qualification would waste a lot of your years, content and also talent.
In that context I would never recommend the instagram and facebook to those who are starting from scartch. Some of the time starting just alone is good enough. and we have to do what we can on platforms that earn a good income.
I feel bad about this because my income used to be dependent on the youtube and things are kind of going slow in life that I can't do much with the income online from the youtube anymore. And so I have to just use it as a means for the promoting my business and then move ahead.
In short, life has to come to some point where I can get the facebook income or some sort of the video income going and maybe just maybe have enough to pay the bills for the hard work being done.
