A lot of people are going to be wondering what would be the accuracy of the chatGPT on the topics of politics, reality and the culture. Because most of the times history is being written by the winners and they paint the rosy picture of their life.
So I am kind of speculating on what could be possible with the chatgpt and it's impact on the history and variety of other topics. So let's talk about it and we can discuss things further.
Spanish used to destroy temples, mosque and other religious places. And they used to replace those places with church. Mughal used to invade the nations, destroy the temples and other things and then convert people forcefully.
In reality, when we read the history, such invaders are glorified because they are rich and they control the colonial narrative. And they respect their ancestors for killing other people in the name of their own culture and nation.
How come AI is going to react to this? If it gets programmed by colonial people it would be dominating the history with those results. And that would be pure factual inaccuracy where they can make the colonial lords as some sort of jesus too.
I recently watched the grooming gangs in the UK. Everybody knows who are they, their religion and also their origin and from where they and who they target. Yet the govt and the people want to be politically correct and don't want to take action.
This goes to show you that rewriting the history is possible now if we take the AI in the hands of such people who want to be politically correct. And they want to avoid the phobia. Some of the time that can be a disaster for lot of cultures. Some of us would learn from that experience.
I think we have a lot of issues in front of us thanks to AI. And I hope to cover some of them slowly one by one in my articles. I kind of like the ethical side of solving AI issues. I hope my series of article would take domino effect and that reaches to places where it is meant to be.
