As you start to age towards the 40s. You start to have issues related to memory and the mindset. You tend to miss your own goals and you would only live a day at a time to survive. When it comes to building the life around the memory and the past things that happened to you, there is a need for other tools.
In such case people who are into digital tools and the world, tend to build the second brain. They document down everything in digital notebooks and connect things. You have to focus on the things you want to remember and want for next few years of your life.
This is one of the reason you need tool like notion.
Now if we think of notion, we have to think of it in terms of the pages and then add the content into those pages. By doing that it would be easier for you to work with the data and also there would be things that you can connect.
Now coming back to why would you need notion is that you have a lot of resources in mind. And you need to note them down so if you happen to forget it things would be pretty terrible if noted in the wrong places. So your approach has to find the good places where you can put down the notes and then build the same for the content.
My approach towards this is you have to build on the connections. Think of this like a mindmaps and you are adding some content. So one branch and then you add the nodes for the same. So you can easily add up on the content which connects the nodes. So if we are to add the nodes to the content it would be reasonable. Let's think of it from the defensive angle.
In short if you are reaching the 40s, you need to think of the notes and also the second brain approach. If you can do that properly things would be lot easier and also life would be lot better in that note. Slowly building the second brain and making use of the same one day at a time would be a right progress but it won't happen in short and you have to keep on struggling too.
I am going to think of mindmaps, notions and the diary as the only means for the rescue here.
