Few weeks back we discussed some of the tools created using the AI API and the AI based algorithms. And those were capable of creating art, be it videos and the audio and image art. It was one of those arts which could change the game.
Now a new set of issues are arising where copyright is coming into picture. As the AI is copying on the top of existing art, it was meant to happen one way or the other.
Say you have drawn a painting using the crayons and the other water color or oil colors. Here you can see that AI is catching things up and making one more version of the existing original image. Something that was meant to happen with the AI art using algorithm.
Original is going to devalue either way. Because people always want new art and if the AI can create the free variants of the art. It would be possible to see that the original art is going to be changing sooner or later. Some of those things we are going to be seeing in near future.
I suppose we don't know what could happen with the copyright here because tracing the original artists and then paying them some values in return would be not that easy to pay off in the long term in the case there.
This sort of situation is money maker for the lawyers and they would want to make some real money too. Something a lot of people don't anticipate. Laws are going to stack up and people are going to find some real good value out of the cases like this as that would be whole new level of employment and the business.
Another thing is that people would want such clashes and people who have higher money on the side would be making the most of the money. Which would be bad for the artists and also the chance of losing much money would be on the cards. So we have to watch that out for as well.
I feel that we are now in the phase of AI adoption and the side effects already being faced side by side. Some of those side effects are not going to be any easy. And we have to think of things lot differently as well.
I think laws and the designers of the AI would be something that are going to be opening up new world but that is out in the open and we have to let time decide the future of those things.
