Greetings to you all hivers.
It another mid-term break. This time around it a first term mid-term break. This is an exercise observed in nearly all nursery and secondary schools in Nigeria.
Children who are boarders returned to their parents at home while those that are not stays back at home during this time until the break is over. The break is usually a two to three days break. For this term, it was Thursday and Friday.
To make our children feel happy, we took them out to the village.
As you can see from this pictures, they are so excited to visit the village.
It was a good opportunity for them to see the village outlook. You know children, they explored the environment, feel like touching and plucking everything they see, especially the leaves and the flowers.
They asked questions about many of the things they saw.
They asked of what those things they saw were. Behind where we were seated was a large plantain plantation. So they asked is that plantain, is that the leave, who owns it, is it your own etc.
We patiently answeir them one after the other for their Joy to be full.
So that was the mid-term break experience my children had and it was so educative to them. I believe that with this they will see the need to appreciate this exercise in the Nigerian educational system.
Thank you for reading my post and for your support.
