This morning being Wednesday, my generator developed both mechanical and electrical fault and I have no other option than to take it to a generator mechanic workshop for repairs.
Here is my disembled generator
Upon taking the generator to the mechanic, I told him that the generator developed mechanical fault and the process of checking where the problem comes from the electrical aspect also developed a fault.
The mechanic started to loose the bolt and knot and before I know he has dissembled the generator.
What would have come to my mind, would have been the assembling of the generator. But no doubt he is skillful in it, I have no fear once he is done with the generator diagnosis everything would be find.
Other generators were also disembled for repairs.
Here is the coil that causes the electrical fault.
It did not take him much time to remove the burnt coil making the armature ready for rewinding of a new coil.
This mechanic repairs both mechanical and electrical parts of the generator.
Beside this mechanic workshop is a road side vulcanizer.
However, inside this mechanic workshop are Generators that had long been taken to him for repairs. Some he has finished repairing but the owners had not come to carry them. This made him not to finish repairing all the Generators in his shop. He now work only on those once the owners are ready to pay and carry.
For this reason he requested for advance before doing anything and the advance is more than the balance.
That is how my Wednesday walk went.
