The first photo in this article is my actual submission, after making a few changes here and there to the original design I thought of.
This next photo is practically the same except this one doesn't have gold chrome pieces, and has a patterned shirt and shoe.
I call him Mr. Waffles because of the waffle design of his shoes' sole (from Vans), that I also incorporated into his ear.
I described Mr. Waffles as "Sporting gold chrome and bandages, he's deadly, he's cute. He's deadly cute! Mr. Waffles is a fil-jap rabbit demon with love for skate shoes, Samurais, and Baybayin."
The unique scripts you're seeing on his shirt print, and on prints on his waffle soles and waffle ears are scripts from Baybayin (which is an ancient Filipino writing system, among many).
Here's a few draft photos of Mr. Waffles:
No gold chromes, no prints on back of head and ears.
The background without Mr. Waffles in it.
The original Rabbotz design wasn't by and me and was provided by UniqueZip (the contest organizers). Artists were asked to join and create their own version of a Rabbotz using their art and imagination. This is what the blank template looks like:
All the designs will be pitted against each other and only the Top 10 voted designs will get an art toy blind box prize from UniqueZip. Then one of the top 10 will get a chance to be produced as an actual art toy.
Mr. Waffles us currently ranked Top 8. You can vote on him if you'd like btw. One vote is equal to 1 raffle entry for an art toy as well, and you can vote 1x per day until Feb 27. If you'd vote for Mr. Waffles I'd really appreciate it!
