A Rainy Journey Back Home

English
Español

On this occasion, I dedicated myself to embarking on a journey back home. To be honest, there is something special about the road home — no matter how many times you travel it, it always feels different depending on the day, the weather, and the mood you carry with you.

I found that during the trip it began to rain lightly, but it continued. What resulted was a session along an old but well-traveled road home. Quite beautiful, to be honest. The raindrops on the pavement, the gray sky, and the smell of wet earth created an atmosphere that felt almost cinematic.

I watched the people passing by, each one hurrying to find shelter. Some ran, some opened umbrellas, and others simply accepted the rain as part of the journey. I stayed somewhere in between — not rushing, not hiding, just letting it happen. To be completely honest, it was oddly calming.

The road itself is one I have known for years. It is not the newest or the most modern, but it is familiar. Every corner, every streetlamp, every small business along the way holds some memory. Passing through it while the rain fell made those memories feel closer somehow, like old friends accompanying me on the way.

I thought about how often we rush through our routines without really seeing them. We take the same paths every day and stop noticing the details. But rain has a way of slowing everything down, of forcing you to pay attention. It makes the ordinary look new.

By the time I arrived home, I was a little wet, a little tired, but somehow lighter. The rain had washed away more than just the dust from the streets. It had cleared my mind, too. And that, to be honest, was worth the damp shoes and the cold breeze.

With nothing more to add, thank you very much for reading my publication. Stay tuned for upcoming posts. See you soon.

Estén atentos a próximas publicaciones. Nos vemos pronto.
