...and it was so damn tasty.
as being a pro, we have a tool for the drunken chicken.
Some years ago I found this nice "chicken on the can" tool in this Pro version. Sure, it was bought - while shopping at a huge supermarket - in a second, as I love cool tools.
You fill the amount of liquid into the inner cup and put the chicken on top of the other part of the tool.
As you see by the dark color, I added some soya sauce to the Jupiler beer.
Now, the chicken get's as well some herbs from the outside.
I do my own mix with pepper, garlic, salt and some massalla from India, but you can as well buy a rup from the shop.
To get it onto the chicken, I add some oil and use a little cooking brush.
Yeah, as this chicken is with indirect heat, the cooking takes a while.
Being a responsible cook, I introduced that nice Belgian beer to the chicken and the chicken was OK with this beer.
Means I worked myself through that big bottle of beer and the sunset while the chicken went into the sauna. What a great deal!
preheat the BBQ and start the "chicken sauna"
Means I only put heat the that part of the grill, where the chicken is NOT sitting. So with this indirect heat, the BBQ time is a bit longer, the chicken get's more tasty and the cook has more time to enjoy the Belgian beer.
Look at this, such a tasty skin and still so juicy.
One Jupiler for the inside of the chicken and the other Arend for the inside of the cook. Makes a perfect chicken and a happy cook.
The family was so fast and the cook couldn't take more pics from the table
