Hace unas semanas estuvimos en Maracay, en una exposición de arte dedicada al Doctor José Gregorio Hernandez, el día del médico comenzó esta exposicion de arte, en donde el homenajeado fue el doctor, aquí les voy a mostrar fotografías de mi experiencia, como hija de una de las artistas que homenajeó con su arte esa noche...
A few weeks ago we were in Maracay, in an art exhibition dedicated to Doctor José Gregorio Hernandez, this art exhibition began on doctor's day, where the honoree was the doctor, here I am going to show you photographs of my experience, as the daughter of one of the artists who honored with her art that night...
Y justo ayer, 30 de Abril, se celebró el primer año de la Beatificación del Doctor José Gregorio Hernandez, quien nació en el estado Trujillo el 26 de Octubre de 1864, fue el médico de todos, y en especial, el médico de los pobres, ya luego de muchos años de trabajo, estudios y grandes experiencias como Doctor a nivel nacional e internacional. Curiosamente falleció chocado por el único auto que había en Caracas.
And just yesterday, April 30, the first year of the Beatification of Doctor José Gregorio Hernandez was celebrated, who was born in the state of Trujillo on October 26, 1864, he was the doctor of all, and especially, the doctor of the poor , after many years of work, studies and great experiences as a Doctor at a national and international level. Interestingly, he died crashed by the only car in Caracas.

La beatificación del Doctor, es la primera de un laico Venezolano. En vida, el Doctor estudió en Francia, Nueva York, madrid, Berlin... Fue un hombre muy preparado, que fundó tres departamentos de ciencias en la Universidad Central de Caracas, ejerció la medicina y fue hacia los más necesitados a atenderlos. Era un hombre de Fe, entregando su vida a Dios a cambio de que cesara la primera guerra mundial, justo falleció un día después de que se firmara el tratado de Versalles (1919).
The beatification of the Doctor is the first of a Venezuelan layman. In life, the Doctor studied in France, New York, Madrid, Berlin... He was a very prepared man, who founded three science departments at the Central University of Caracas, practiced medicine and went to the most needy to attend to them. He was a man of Faith, giving his life to God in exchange for the end of the First World War, he died just one day after the Treaty of Versailles (1919) was signed.
En toda latinoamérica se mantuvo muy viva la memoria del doctor, comenzaron a surgir historias de milagros atribuídos a él, la gente le pedía sanación, además su tumba pasó a ser sitio de peregrinaje, en el año 1949 se presentó una petición para que José Gregorio Fuera santificado. Finalmente luego de muchos años , varios procesos, la iglesia católica neceitaba verificar varios milagros para tu beatificación oficial. Se logró la beatificación gracias al milagro ocurrido en una niña de 10 años Venezolana quién recibió un impacto de bala en un asalto, el impacto fue en el cerebro y no tenía esperanza de seguir viva, sin embargo, el milagro ocurrió al sanarse de manera inesperada y además quedar sin problemas neuronales. Para nosotros como pueblo venezolano es muy importante y hermoso lo que está sucediendo, esas bonitas energías de sanación que emergen desde el interior del país hacia el mundo...
Throughout Latin America the memory of the doctor was kept very alive, stories of miracles attributed to him began to emerge, people asked him for healing, in addition his tomb became a pilgrimage site, in 1949 a petition was presented so that José Gregorio Be sanctified. Finally after many years, several processes, the Catholic Church needed to verify several miracles for your official beatification. The beatification was achieved thanks to the miracle that occurred in a 10-year-old Venezuelan girl who received a bullet impact in an assault, the impact was in the brain and she had no hope of staying alive, however, the miracle occurred when she was wounded unexpectedly and also remain without neural problems. For us as a Venezuelan people, what is happening is very important and beautiful, those beautiful energies of nationhood that emerge from the interior of the country to the world...

El día del médico comenzó una exposición de arte en maracay, en donde la figura principal era el Doctor José Gregorio Hernández. Asistieron los familiares de los artistas, pintores, artesanos, además de figuras importantes de la iglesia católica y de la embajada de España en Venezuela entre otros... Hubo música en vivo y mucha tertulia sobre las obras.
On doctor's day, an art exhibition began in Maracay, where the main figure was Doctor José Gregorio Hernández. Relatives of the artists, painters, artisans attended, as well as important figures from the Catholic Church and the Spanish embassy in Venezuela, among others... There was live music and a lot of discussion about the works.
Disfruté muchísimo el recorrido, de inmediato me sorprendió que cada artista hizo a su manera una bella representación.
I really enjoyed the tour, I was immediately surprised that each artist made a beautiful representation in their own way.
El artista de ésta pintura fue de mis preferidos, con un cuadro de la ciudad de Maracay y el doctor observando toda ésta ciudad, parecía que la estaba protegiendo.
The artist of this painting was one of my favorites, with a painting of the city of Maracay and the doctor observing this entire city, it seemed that he was protecting it.
Este cuadro me llamó la atención, era muy diferente a los demás. Me transmitió paz y al mismo tiempo, misterio.

Este me pareció muy peculiar en cuanto a la cromática, parecía ser la luz en toda la oscuridad, representando la fe y el poder.
This seemed very peculiar to me in terms of color, it seemed to be the light in all the darkness, representing faith and power.
De verdad el recorrido fue bastante placentero.
The tour was actually quite pleasant.
cada cuadro me fascinaba demasiado, tanto los que eran complejos, como los abstractos y hasta los más simples y minimalistas.

El doctor es el sentimiento de todo un país, lleno de amor, devoción... Los que me conocen saben que vengo de una familia católica, mi primer nombre es Fatima, pero, debo decir que no tengo una religión en específico, creo en toda la energía universal, pienso que todo es posible, así como el poder del doctor José Gregorio Hernández, más allá de que la iglesia lo diga o no.
The doctor is the feeling of an entire country, full of love, devotion... Those who know me know that I come from a Catholic family, my first name is Fatima, but I must say that I do not have a specific religion, I believe in all the universal energy, I think that everything is possible, as well as the power of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, regardless of whether the church says so or not.
La decoración fue bastante hermosa, además regalaron galletas que no provocaba comer de lo lindas y preciosas que eran.
The decoration was quite beautiful, they also gave away cookies that did not provoke eating because of how beautiful and precious they were.
ësta chica es artista, y la organizadora de todo, es una bella persona con una luz en su forma de ser, ilumina a donde sea que va. Me encantó ella como ser humano lleno de amor y su arte, ese José Gregorio floral y colorido.
This girl is an artist, and the organizer of everything, she is a beautiful person with a light in her way of being, she illuminates wherever she goes. I loved her as a human being full of love and her art, that floral and colorful José Gregorio.
Y sobre todo, amé la obra de mi madre "Tu presencia en mi" 💟
