This time last year, our daughter was in the hospital fighting for her life after battling with complications from Covid. Even though the past year has been extremely hard for our family because of all the loss that we have suffered, we are so happy that we are in a better place than we were a year ago.
Our daughter had her sweetheart's dance for school last night. Her and her boyfriend had such a great time at the dance and it is crazy to think of how close we were to losing her and her not being able to be here for her dance. We are doing everything we can to try and live life to its fullest and to make sure that we appreciate our time here because it can be gone at any moment.
The last photo is one that my wife took while they were in the hospital. It is a nice reminder for us to not take anything for granted and to focus on what is important. Don't take your life for granted and go out and have an awesome day!
