Meet the Precious Pablo

break.png

My son and his girlfriend rescued this kitten last night. They decided to name him Pablo. I have no clue why they would name him that though. My wife thinks they should have named him Milky. I don't really care what they call him, I just know that he is a cutie.

When they brought him home, he wasn't in the greatest shape. He was very dirty and smelled like pee.

My son gave him a bath last night and when he was drying him off, Pablo seemed to know that he was safe and started to relax a lot more. He can purr pretty loud for having such a small little body.

My son got him some special food to help get him the nourishments that he has been missing out on. We can feel his ribs and stuff and his legs are pretty frail.

We have him isolated from the other animals for now, but I just introduced him to the other cats and to Titus and Harley. I wasn't able to get any decent pictures of him meeting the other animals because I wanted to make sure that I was holding him when he met them. I am not worried about the dogs hurting him because they are awesome with the little ones. I just wanted to make sure he felt safe when he was meeting everyone.

I think my house is turning into a rescue shelter because in a couple weeks, our daughter is going to be bringing home a baby kitten she has been bottle feeding pretty much since birth.

Her boyfriend's cat had kittens and all of them have died except for two, which she has been taking care of because the mother can't produce enough milk for them.

You can see in this photo where his fur is all messed up from Titus giving him kisses. I will be taking Pablo and the other cats outside in a few days or so once the weather warms up a bit more. Then I can get some cool pictures of them all playing together and playing with the dogs outside. My cats love going out in the backyard and playing.

I can't wait to get some pictures of Rusty and Pablo together. Rusty is the cutest with him and I think it is because Rusty knows what he is going through. We have a vent in the wall of the room that Pablo is in right now and Rusty was laying at the vent all night long trying to be close to him.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to come and check out Pablo. Once he has settled in a bit more, I will be getting some pictures of all the cats playing together. I think Pablo is going to love it here. That is until my son and his girlfriend decide to get married and move out...
