I had to drive into Provo today and renew the registration on one of my cars. While I was out, I decided to take a few photos since the weather was finally decent enough to spend some time outside.
When I parked at the DMV, the car next to me had Police "evidence" tape across some of the seals on the vehicle. It was a bit odd since it was in a public parking lot and there weren't any cops or anything around it for a while. There were two dogs in the back of the car and even a car seat, which I couldn't tell if there was a baby in there as well. I didn't want to get too close because the whole thing was a bit odd. When I got out of the DMV, there was a cop walking up to the car with gloves on, so I am assuming that he was there to start searching whatever may have been in the car.
After I finished my registration, I went to one of my old buddie's photography studio. Justin Hackworth is a photographer based out of Provo, Utah that does some amazing work and has given me pointers over the years. I haven't seen him since before Covid, so it was cool to stop in and chat with him for a while.
Then I stopped at a pretty cool cafe to grab a bite to eat. The cafe was called Good Move Cafe and it is a table top gamer's paradise. They have just about any board or card game you could want to play. I thought it was a pretty cool concept to have a place to play games that also serves food. When my son was a little bit younger, we would go once a week and play Dungeons and Dragons at game shop, but we always had to order pizza or something and have it delivered. This place just combines the gaming and food into one place and it is genius.
