Finally got one

I have been looking at the One Wheel for a couple years now. Ever since I saw a video of it years ago, I have always thought that it looked like a blast to ride. I am an old school skateboarder and snowboarder, and the One Wheel combines both of those sports, giving you the freedom to ride it wherever you want to.

One of the things that has held me back from getting one was the hefty price tag. The base price for a One Wheel XR is $1799, but I added some customizations and upgrades to mine, and it came to a little over $2300.

I have bought a few things with my crypto over the past few months, but this is definitely the largest purchase I have made using crypto. I have always thought that crypto should be used as a currency and if you don't use it as a currency, there really isn't a point to having it.

So what is a One Wheel? Check out the video above to get an idea of what it is.

I have been thinking of getting rid of one of my cars now that my wife and I both have somewhat the same work schedule and work at the same place. With the One Wheel, I will be able to ride it to commute to work and have a blast at the same time. Plus I can take it up into the canyons and ride on some mountain trails if I wanted to go off roading with it.

So what am I planning with my One Wheel?

Well, I have been somewhat stagnant in my creativity lately. That is mainly due to being overworked, the world situation, and trying to find ways to fill my time that is something other than video games.

I am hoping to get a new GoPro or similar type of video camera to film my One Wheel adventures. Then I will start to upload some new video content because it has been WAY too long since I created any videos.

With a 12-18 mile range, I think I will be able to get some pretty cool videos of the city or off roading. They also have a One Wheel Pint, which is a smaller one that I think would be perfect for my wife or one of my kids to come riding with me. The Pint is about half the price of the XR, but it doesn't sacrifice on fun. It is always more fun to ride with others.

I can't wait for it to come in mail so I can go out and start my adventures.
