You must've seen the flash crash that happened at midnight and continued till today, while I think it's actually not unpredicted, I think this is probably a reminder to people who are feeling comfortable at the present price, or even having the illusion that the market may have bottomed.
I think the market pretty much does this, and that's the painful reality check we've seen with crypto so far, over the years, we've seen this reality hit, over and over again. The market can be humbling, as much as crypto is life-changing and all that, it can actually destroy lives as well.
While this is a bold thing to say, I can remember this particular crypto influencer who lost all his life savings to a meme coin, and reportedly took his life afterwards.
While crypto is not meme, meme is also part of this industry and we've seen people who became rich off of meme coins. A lot of people have seen the negative side of the market and honestly the times we've seen mad pumps didn't even last for a long time.
while I think that good times in life generate doesn't last so long, sometimes I think with crypto, you're always one decision away from becoming completely broke or change your life. With most people I've seen it's always their lives changing negatively and this isn't to undermine the success stories we've seen over the years.
Forgive my rants, I was just trying to say that no one can be comfortable at a certain price point, and even if you're 95% down from a previous ATH, there's no reason why you cannot do another 50% dump from that -95% and that's the cruel nature of the market.
It doesn't mean it won't get better, it only means that it can get become the worst, even though it's already bad, that's crypto, no sentiment, no emotion, and it's taken me 9 years to learn this. Sometimes it begs the question, did we top? Are we now attaining diminishing returns and we don't know it, or this is still the earliest phase of crypto even though it's been over 17 years now?
Well I won't pretend to have the answers. Someone actually commented on one of my posts and talked about AI topping and make the hype dies as well.
I cannot say, but here's something I know. We're currently in the hottest phases of AI and perhaps in 10 years time it'll top, and maybe no one would care anymore, but I really don't think this is the case, because AI and crypto is pretty much very different. But, the same thing that has also happened to crypto can happen to AI too..
from saturation to lack of relevance and many other things. Maybe the government might decide to start controlling it's usage and all that, but it'll probably never get the fear factor that crypto had in the earliest stages.
My reason for this comparison is still the question about the realistic situation of the market, and my stand still remains the same: the market has not bottomed and we still have another 15 to 20% dump from 65k.
My predicted timeframe is Q4 2026 and the dump will not be a flash dump, just some slower dump that'll probably not be visible enough to cause pain. Well, a lot of people are already numb anyway and any dump from this price point may not e dn bother them anymore..
this is why I think the market is spent, and a lot of people aren't really wasting much emotions anymore and that's why the pump of mid to late 2028 might just be legendary because no one is expecting it.
Again, just my assumption and deductions. If you're already buying at this current price. I don't think you'll make a lot of mistakes, because at worst, you see a -15% dump from your current position but still make money when the market is better. Expect these dumps, hopefully they're signs that better times are ahead .
