Sadly, I am also pretty sure we will. Seems to be the way of human beings... a few control everything, and the rest just "go along."

Thanks for the support; I appreciate it!

My condolences. Words are hollow and empty at times like these; I've had dogs and cats pretty much all my life and they all leave their pawprints in our hearts, and in our memories. They become such integral

Happy to support @hivebuzz; the badges are cool and the broad community support he;ps a lot of people stay on task during their early days on Hive. Still working towards some of the more challenging badges!

Thanks for the thoughtful comment @drabs587! What's very interesting and relevant to the whole marketing discussion is your path here, via Splinterlands. I have long believed that the best thing Hive can

Hi @ryzeonline, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment! You're exactly right, money is a "hook" and really nothing more. It's like advertising "free beer and BBQ" to

Happy Birthday Maggie! From all of us here... 18 is a fine age!

Ah well, I guess we'll never see you again... ROFL! Macro is fascinating; been my favorite part of photography for... well, since digital cameras became a thing. And yeah, there's a LOT more to it than

Never heard of him, but that is pretty amazing! On some level, it makes sense, though... we lived in Kenya when I was a kid, and I remember watching the men at a building site across the street put something

How about relative newcomer @consciouscat; she's been very consistent in her three months or so here; big into the "Parkrun" movement in Australia but also posts other kinds of content... good

Sometimes I just feel more and more out of the loop; like I got left behind by the times! There are some beautiful properties there, to be sure but the whole idea of "a million dollar house"

I love your response to this! Berkshire-Hathaway itself is a bit of a dinosaur. Sure, its vast wealth was built on old fashioned "basic materials" but that strategy is going to run its course...

I got here a bit late @ryzeonline, but I still wanted to say that the whole "stealth reverse psychology" approach here is pretty brilliant! And I think you have have one of the most workable

What I like about the HBD savings option is the rare thing that you can earn a return on essentially LIQUID ("uninvested") funds. It's not just sitting there as inactive, but I can still get

For the moment, I'm going to leave mine liquid or put them into Savings... mostly for the purpose of having some liquidity handy when some new opportunity calls for ready funds. Savings with that 10% return

Yes, I know some of them can be quite elaborate... which begs the question of why someone is willing to work that hard to scam someone, but not to simply earn a living.

Congratulations! INDEX is an excellent project, and I'm glad to see how it has just steadily gained ground over time... and all the "drips" of other tokens is really cool, as well. Don't own

I'm probably more naive... in the sense that I tend to trust people unless they give a reason to not trust them, either through their words or their actions. But you are right, there are a lot of bad apples

I suppose if I were to be somewhat objective about what challenges me... it would be that I tend to prefer pretty creative activities, and my creativity rarely flows consistently or in a straight line.

I expect you're the king of many things, my friend! We must have our secret weapons or the rebellion will never succeed!
