Feliz noche amigos de Family & Friends está noche quiero compartir con ustedes lo lindo que pase la tarde de mi cumpleaños. El día de mi cumpleaños fue bastante movido ya que me tocó madrugar para ir a un paseo a un sendero. Pero en la tarde quedé de salir con una de mis hermanas, mi mejor amiga, una prima y una tía y debo decir que la pase muy bien. Toda mi familia y amigos hicieron lo posible para que me sintiera muy amada.
Good evening, friends from Family & Friends! Tonight, I want to share with you what a lovely time I had on the afternoon of my birthday. My birthday was quite a busy day, as I had to get up early for a hike along a trail. However, in the afternoon, I met up with one of my sisters, my best friend, a cousin, and an aunt, and I must say I had a wonderful time. My family and friends all did their best to make me feel truly loved.
Mi hermana el día de mi cumpleaños llegó en la tarde y me regaló flores, ese día olvide tomarle fotos a las flores. Nos arreglamos y decidimos ir a la bahía de pampatar a tomarnos unas cervezas y comer algo.
My sister arrived on the afternoon of my birthday and gave me flowers; I forgot to take photos of them that day. We got ready and decided to go to Pampatar Bay to have some beers and grab a bite to eat.
Algo de lo cual siempre estaré agradecida es por tener una amiga tan maravillosa como lo es Dai, porque son tantos los años juntas y en este momento tan difícil que he estado viviendo ella a estado muy pendiente de mi, lo más seguro que yo puedo tener es que cuando me levanto el primer mensaje que tengo es de ella para saber cómo estoy. One thing I will always be grateful for is having a friend as wonderful as Dai; we have spent so many years together, and throughout the difficult time I’ve been going through, she has really looked out for me. I can always count on the fact that the first message I see when I wake up is from her, checking to see how I am. She spent the entire day with me that day and even stayed over at my house. I wish everyone could have a best friend as wonderful as mine.
Este día decidí ponerme este vestido porque mi mamá siempre sabía dicho que cuando ella muriera no me visto era siempre de negro y yo siempre he amado mi cumpleaños, este cumpleaños este año fue totalmente diferente. No es fácil no tener a la persona que te dió la vida, pero se que ella dejó a una familia maravillosa que no me ha dejado nunca sola y eso me hace seguir aquí dando lo mejor de mi.
I decided to wear this dress today because my mom had always said that when she passed away, I shouldn't just wear black; I’ve always loved my birthday, and this year’s was completely different. It isn't easy not having the person who gave you life, but I know she left behind a wonderful family that has never left me alone, and that keeps me going and giving my best.
Estás fotos son realmente especiales para mí porque mi hermana y mi tía han sido las personas que nunca me han dejado sola y siempre hacen algo para que yo esté ocupada. Me llaman, me invitan a salir y saben que no la estoy pasando nada bien. Mi tía sabe que muchas veces no quiero ni cocinar y siempre me trae comida a la casa.
These photos are really special to me because my sister and my aunt are the ones who have never left me alone and always find ways to keep me busy. They call me and invite me out, knowing that I’m having a really hard time. My aunt knows that there are times I don’t even want to cook, so she always brings food over to the house.
Estuvimos tan concentradas en hablar que olvide tomar algunas fotos en la bahía de pampatar. Desde hace bastante tiempo quería hacer algo como esto que era pasar la tarde en la playa y tomarnos algunas cervezas y pues mi cumpleaños fue el momento perfecto.
We were so engrossed in conversation that I forgot to take any photos at Pampatar Bay. I had wanted to do something like this spending the afternoon at the beach and having a few beers for quite some time, and my birthday turned out to be the perfect occasion.
Luego llegó otra de mis tias y una prima. Seguimos hablando, se hizo de noche. Pedimos algo para comer y compartir y de verdad la pasé muy bien. Nada como el amor de familia para los días difíciles.
Then another of my aunts and a cousin arrived. We kept talking, and night fell. We ordered some food to share, and I really had a great time. There’s nothing like family love for getting through tough days.
