Feliz noche amigos de Hive hoy quiero contarles porque he estado un poco alejada de la plataforma y es que hace aproximadamente casi un mes recibí una llamada de que un local de donas abría sus puertas y estaban buscando personal así que decidí asistir a la entrevista de trabajo y la verdad es que no pensaba que me iban a dar el puesto ya que nunca había trabajado. Pues siempre he trabajado de forma independiente. Pero para mí sorpresa si me contrataron y me dijeron que fuera al día siguiente para comenzar.
Good evening, Hive friends! Today I want to share why I’ve been a bit absent from the platform. About a month ago, I got a call that a donut shop was opening and looking for staff, so I decided to go for an interview. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d get the job, as I had never worked for anyone else before I’ve always worked independently. But to my surprise, they hired me and told me to come in the very next day to start.
Al día siguiente me presente en el lugar donde abriría este local de donas. Una cosa es ver el centro comercial desde el lado que compra y visita tiendas y luego ver desde la parte donde se trabaja y se hacen tantas cosas.
The next day, I arrived at the location where this doughnut shop was set to open. It’s one thing to see a shopping mall from the perspective of a customer visiting the stores, but quite another to see it from the side where the work happens and so much goes on.
Me fueron enseñando las cosas que habían comprado y como sería la forma en que íbamos a trabajar. La verdad que yo no tenía mucho conocimientos sobre donas pero algo si les puedo decir es que estaba dispuesta a aprender y sobre todo a dar lo mejor de mi.
They showed me the items they had purchased and explained how we would be working. To be honest, I didn’t know much about doughnuts, but I can tell you this: I was eager to learn and, above all, committed to giving it my absolute best.
Amé cuando me dieron el delantal y me dijeron que yo sería la pastelera de Glasé café así se llama el local donde venderán donas y yo seré la pastelera. Se que mi mamá estaría tan orgullosa de mi, porque aún con tantos miedos y sufrimiento he decidido salir adelante y sobre todo aprender mucho. Que año lleno de tantos cambios y de tanto crecimiento.
I loved it when they gave me the apron and told me I would be the pastry chef at Glasé Café that’s the name of the shop where they’ll be selling doughnuts, and I’ll be the one making the pastries. I know my mom would be so proud of me, because even with so many fears and so much suffering, I’ve decided to keep moving forward and, above all, to learn as much as I can. What a year, full of so many changes and so much growth!
Está fue la parte que no me gustó tanto y es que a mí noe gusta fregar pero aquí tuve que fregar todo lo que está nuevo para poder usar y luego llenar unos grandes recipientes con harina de trigo, azúcar y otra materia prima para las donas.
This was the part I didn’t like as much I’m not a fan of washing dishes, but here I had to wash everything (which was all brand new) before it could be used, and then fill large containers with wheat flour, sugar, and other ingredients for the doughnuts.
Me dieron un pequeño obsequio y como estuvimos trabajando bastante este primer día los jefes me brindado una pizza y solo puedo decir que los días que siguen el trabajo fue mucho más fuerte y pesado... Este es solo el comienzo.
They gave me a small gift, and since we worked quite a bit on this first day, the bosses treated us to pizza but I have to say that in the days that followed, the work became much more intense and demanding... This is just the beginning.
