Feliz noche amigos de Hive Margarita, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes las fotos de una de mis playas favoritas y es que cuando era niña está era la playa donde mis papás siempre me llevaban. Es bastante cerca de mi casa, pero yo la verdad tenía años sin ir y hoy con mi familia pasamos el día en Puerto Abajo.
Good evening, friends of Hive Margarita. Today I want to share photos of one of my favorite beaches with you; it’s the beach my parents always took me to when I was a child. It is quite close to my home, but I honestly hadn't been there in years until today, when my family and I spent the day at Puerto Abajo.
Decidimos irnos a esta playa ya que una de mis primas estaba de cumpleaños, como se ha echo costumbre yo fui la encargada de hacer la torta de cumpleaños. En esta oportunidad realice una torta tres leches, decorada con merengue italiano. Mi prima estuvo encantada con su torta de cumpleaños y que estuvimos reunidos en familia.
We decided to go to this beach because it was one of my cousins' birthdays; as has become the custom, I was in charge of making the birthday cake. This time, I made a tres leches cake decorated with Italian meringue. My cousin was delighted with her birthday cake and with the fact that the whole family was gathered together.
Por supuesto al llegar a la playa tenía que tomar fotos, ya que la playa estaba hermosa y además que tenía tantos años sin ir. Además le envié estás fotos a unos familiares que están fuera del país y que está playa también es su favorita.
Of course, upon arriving at the beach, I had to take photos, since it was beautiful and I hadn't been there in so many years. I also sent these photos to some relatives living abroad, as this is their favorite beach too.
Algo que amo es que en mi familia todos aman cocinar y en esta oportunidad una de mis tias decidió preparar una ensalada de pulpo que le quedó realmente deliciosa y que acompañamos con casabe. Una comida ideal para compartir en la playa.
One thing I love is that everyone in my family enjoys cooking; this time, one of my aunts decided to make an octopus salad that turned out truly delicious, and we paired it with casabe. It was an ideal meal to share at the beach.
Aunque hoy el día estuvo un poco nublado, pero disfrutamos mucho la playa. Con mis sobrinos nos fuimos a caminar por alrededor de la playa. Había muchos botes muy lindos.
Even though it was a bit cloudy today, we really enjoyed the beach. My nephews and I went for a walk around the beach area. There were many lovely boats.
Caminamos y tomamos unas cuantas fotos, y por supuesto nos bañamos. La playa estuvo deliciosa, justo le comentaba a una de mis hermanas que nos hacía falta el forro de celular para poder tenerlo dentro de la playa.
We walked around, took a few photos, and of course went for a swim. The beach was delightful; I had just been telling one of my sisters that we really needed a waterproof phone case so we could take our phones into the water with us.
Pasar los días con mi familia sin lugar a dudas me recarga de energía, y además estar en esta playa me trajo muy buenos recuerdos de mi niñez, pensé mucho en mi mamá y mi papá.
Spending time with my family undoubtedly recharges my energy, and being at this beach also brought back wonderful childhood memories; I thought a lot about my mom and dad.
