It's been a while since we dropped by hospital to pay a visit in the morning because wife had started work and since then we'd been doing hospital visitation during the evening.
Reason I dropped by this morning is to hear more updates from the doctor in charge cuz evening all of them are not in already. And this time it's my first time visiting alone.
So before the doctor came, this was what I did for Xixi!
This was her first fingernail cut. Nurses had been complaining a several times about her long fingernails but we always forgot her fingernail cutter. This time we remembered so before things got busy, I better helped her to trim her nails. Now she won't easily got herself scratched anymore.
While waiting for the doctor, I didn't wanna carry her because doctors need to check on her (daily morning routine), so she just kept crying since she knew I was there and not carrying her. That's how she ended up on my hands and chest after doctor done her daily check.
Managed to rock her to sleep as well before I went off. From the picture, I was actually whistling to her to make her dozed off.

UPDATES
She's 3.26kg today. Lungs are still immature and still need minimal oxygen support. Doctors will still need to monitor on her lungs for one more week to see how's the progress. So far the past few weeks, her condition is progressing well. Still, if after this week she still breathes hard, she might need to be discharged with an oxygen tank at home to give her the minimal oxygen breathing support. Other than that, everything else is fine.
Of course, I hope we don't need to have that oxygen tank at home. We want to believe that throughout this week her lungs will be completely well and she can breathe without needing any support. Amen!
