I have a set of brake pads that are no longer used by my customers, these brake pads are considered no longer usable by my customers, even though they can still be used again by doing a very easy way and can be practiced by anyone .
The condition of the brake linings that are already shiny on the lining is a normal factor and there is still the possibility to reuse them.
Shiny brake pads like this are most likely when the brakes are pressed, they will make a loud sound like the sound of a rat being pinched, especially when the brake pads are exposed to water such as rainwater and water when washing a motorcycle.
Here's how and the results:
The tools you have to prepare are also very simple and cheap, you only need to prepare a hacksaw blade, sand paper.
You can also use a grinding machine, but you have to be careful because it is very difficult to measure the depth of the scratch later, the easiest way is to use a hacksaw blade to make it easier to measure the depth of the scratch.
First of all, pay attention to the thickness of the brake pads that you will use again.
After the size of the brake lining there is still the possibility to reuse it, you cut or scratch 1/² of the thickness of the canvas, the scratch is enough in one direction, not in the hose, don't scratch straight along with the brake lining wine, it's very dangerous.
Continue to get sandpaper using sand paper size 150, sandpaper or rub the canvas until the shiny texture disappears so that the grip returns to normal.
Then wash the brake pads using dish soap until the side of the canvas is completely clean of all kinds of dirt.
Drying in the sun for about 30 minutes, until the brake pads are completely dry, drying doesn't have to be 30 minutes, you can see from the brake pads that they are dry or not, it's according to how long you haven't washed them, because the water you used earlier To clean it, it will go into the cavities of the brake lining,

The difference is very clear, the right side that I have recycled and the left that I have not recycled.
For the life of the brake pads, which I recycle like this, it has a long life to use, because I use this method very often for its life, usually it will last 4 or even 6 months.
