Today we will take a walk in the beautiful city of Trieste. It’s the capital of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, in Northern Italy.
Walking through the streets of the historic center is like visiting a museum, because the beauty of the fountains and buildings is incredible!

Oggi facciamo una passeggiata nella bellissima città di Trieste. Si tratta del capoluogo della regione Friuli-Venezia Giulia, al Nord Italia.
Passeggiare tra le strade del centro storico è come visitare un museo, perché la bellezza delle fontane e dei palazzi è incredibile!
Trieste has a truly original history, because it constitutes a bridge between the traditions of Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean ones.
It’s clearly perceived that it is a cosmopolitan city, because there are places where you can eat both Italian cuisine and those of Arab and Slavic influence, perfectly mixed together.
Trieste ha una storia davvero originale, perché costituisce un ponte tra le tradizioni dell’est Europa e quelle mediterranee.
Si percepisce chiaramente che è una città cosmopolita, perché sono presenti locali dove mangiare sia cucina italiana, sia di influenza araba e slava, perfettamente mescolati insieme.
My favorite square of all is called Piazza Unità Italia and has an extension of 12 square meters.
This beautiful square opens directly onto the Gulf of Trieste and has numerous important buildings such as the town hall and the prefecture. There are also some statues and a fountain of great scenic impact.
La piazza che preferisco in assoluto si chiama Piazza Unità Italia e ha un’estensione di 12 metri quadrati.
Questa bellissima piazza si apre direttamente sul Golfo di Trieste e presenta numerosi palazzi importanti come le sedi del municipio e la prefettura. Sono presenti anche alcune statue e una fontana di grande impatto scenografico.
