In the past few days I have been inspired by your many posts about the garden, so I thought I would share with you some photos of my little green corner.
May is a fabulous month because there are so many plants in bloom. Nature explodes and everything is getting ready for summer!

Nei giorni scorsi sono stata ispirata dai vostri numerosi post sul giardino, così ho pensato di condividere con voi alcune foto del mio piccolo angolo verde.
Maggio è un mese favoloso perché ci sono tantissime piante in fiore. La natura esplode e tutto si prepara per l’estate!

At this time of year the chives are blooming. The little flowers are small, pink and very scenic. Aren't they beautiful?
In questo periodo l’erba cipollina sta fiorendo. I fiorellini sono piccoli, rosa e molto scenografici. Non sono bellissimi?

Speaking of aromatic herbs, I couldn't be happier with my basil. It’s starting to make some medium-sized leaves and I predict that in a few months I will be able to make some excellent pesto alla genovese!
The thyme is also blooming, forming a bush of delicate and very fragrant little white flowers.
Parlando delle erbe aromatiche, non potrei essere più felice del mio basilico. Sta iniziando a fare qualche foglia di medie dimensioni e prevedo che tra qualche mese potrò fare dell’ottimo pesto alla genovese!
Anche il timo sta fiorendo, formando un cespuglio di fiorellini bianchi delicati e profumatissimi.

Geraniums are simple but beautiful flowers. In the garden I have two types: one red and one pink and white. At this time of year they are full of buds!
The calla lilies are also breathtaking because they are at their most splendid. They have a delicate scent and a milky white color. I love them!
I gerani sono fiori semplici ma bellissimi. Nel giardino ne ho due tipologie: uno rosso e uno rosa e bianco. In questo periodo sono pieni di boccioli!
Anche le calle lasciano senza fiato perché sono al loro massimo splendore. Hanno un profumo delicato e un colore bianco latte. Le adoro!

The last thing I'll tell you about are carnivorous plants. I noticed this peculiarity: depending on the exposure to the sun, the color is very different. For example, in this carnivorous plant the right side is red because it is exposed to the sun, while the left side is green because it is in the shade.
L’ultima cosa di cui vi parlo sono le piante carnivore. Ho notato questa particolarità: a seconda dell’esposizione al sole, il colore è molto diverso. Ad esempio, in questa pianta carnivora il lato destro è rosso perché è esposto al sole, mentre il lato sinistro è verde perché si trova all’ombra.
