Wrriting is one of the basis of earning money on steemit. So I thought of sharing what I know.
Arthur Schopenhauer have mention in his book essays & aphorisms that there are three types of writers. Planets, meteors & stars.
Planets are here to reflect a stars' light whereas meteors are those who come once in long time. Well! stars are always there shining through generations.
The 'planets' who are interested in filling pages as he mentions them are 'daily wagers'. They don't completely think about the subject but write so that task can be completed by the shift ends. Their influence of writing comes from existing stars.
A writer should completely think about the subject & write for the subject itself. He should submit himself for the subject. Only after a thought is fully formed then only he should start typing so that what he types is not filling pages.
The payout you receive on steemit doesn't satiate for thoughtful writers because a payout is not generated after a week. They could start earning after a month & then become popular. But at that time their write ups or stories will not genete that value it could have generated in week of popularity.
Steemit more concentrate on soon-to-fade-moments than memories. Don't you think? so write in comments.
