Hi! I want to share you a drawing I've made on adobe illustrator of a Rokurokubi.
First I started drawing a sketch with the pencil tool.
The Rokurokubis are Japanese female vampires from folklore tales. They can be seen flying on the night.
Here I used the thickness tool to create the eyebrow, and the zig zag filter to creathe the sharp teeth.
The most visible feature is that they can stretch their necks long distances.
Here I draw it using the pen tool.
I added some details and shadows using the pathfinder panel, drawing on vectors is like cutting color papers.
Some people are Rokurokubis and they don't know it. They fly on the nights after they fell asleep and they get lost on the forest.
Here I started drawing the background.
And here the final result.
I hope you like it!
if you like vector art I will be uploading drawings every day here :)
cheers!
