Hello Friday People...
Today we are back to making posts for Fungi Friday. As you know when Friday comes we will make a post about Mushrooms or something and feature it in a post in the Fungi Friday community. This time I will also show you some of my Mushrooms, that was two different types of Mushrooms, I found these Mushrooms each in two different places. The problem is the hot season which lasts in the past few months in my places which makes Mushrooms a bit difficult to find because damp places become dry. Because of that, I have to look for it in several different places to get interesting Mushrooms to show.
I'm gonna start with a very interesting Mushroom, a slightly larger member of the family, and a very unique color and pattern on its canopy. It's a Hare's Foot Inccap Mushroom, at least this the name that I know. This Mushroom is still in the Inkcap Mushroom family, which on average this Mushroom has the characteristic of a unique and thin canopy like fabric. The Inkcap Mushroom also has a unique pattern on its canopy and this makes it a little unique and different from other types of Mushrooms.
Hare's Foot Inkcap also adopts the characteristics of the Inkcap Mushroom Type, which is in the form of a thin canopy and is wider and bigger than its trunk, very thin and fragile structure, but this one is bigger than the usual Inkcap family. The Hare's Foot Inkcap Mushroom that I found this time is black in color and has thin lines all over the canopy. The stem is white and they say this Mushroom doesn't live long, and will dry out in some time if exposed to sunlight. Because this Mushroom grows among the bushes, I almost stepped on it a moment before finding it, but luckily I didn't damage it and managed to take a picture.
In different places and on different days, I found other types of mushrooms. The Mushroom that I found on the second day was a Mushroom from the Psilocybe family. There are many names in my place for this type of mushroom, such as Magic Mushroom, Cow Dung Mushroom, and so on. But based on its characteristics, I only know that this mushroom belongs to the Psilocybe family and I was lucky to find it.
According to some sources, this Mushroom contains a compound called Psilocybin which if consumed, will make us hallucinate and even affect thinking processes, changes in perception of time, and other types of hallucinatory effects. Of course, this Mushroom is not allowed for consumption. We have to be careful when we see the characteristics of Mushrooms like this because this type of Mushroom might have a slightly different appearance.
The most common feature of this Mushroom is its size which is not too small and not too big, its color is brownish yellow, and its canopy is very similar to an umbrella. The structure of this Mushroom is also not too thin and has a white and long stem. Some types even have tears in the edges of their canopy like in the picture above, and the most important thing is this Mushroom grows from piles of animal waste on dead leaves or logs that are starting to decompose and thats why this Mushroom is poisonous.
So, this all Mushrooms that i found in two days and in different places for each other. I hope you like it and see you in another #FungiFriday post.
