Hello Hive's Friends, how are you today ? i hope your going well in this day
In my first post on the Fascinating Insect Community, I want to share some photos of the Needle Dragonfly that I found in a forest area some time ago.
Needle Dragonfly is one type of Dragonfly that is very unique because they are a very rare type of Dragonfly, you can mark it from its body which is very similar to a needle. Needle Dragonfly comes in many colors, mainly green, red, and sometimes blue. This Dragonfly has the same habitat as other Dragonfly, they live around meadows and swamps.
All types of Dragonfly are predators, they prey on other insects for their food. This Needle Butterfly is characterized by their eyes that are larger than the rest of their body, they also have wings that are straight behind their bodies and unlike the Dragonfly in general which their wings spread out to the side.
The thing that is very difficult is when trying to photograph them which requires us to approach them. They are very difficult insects to approach because they are sensitive insects. They will avoid anything that tries to get close to them, they can feel it even at a great distance. I've prepared some photos of this insect. Here are the photos.
