Today's blog is all about my first hive withdrawal. At first, I'm not sure whether it was appropriate to blog about my first withdrawal, but I've seen countless blogs about their hive withdrawals too, so why not share mine? in order to inspire and motivate other hivers here. We had a lot of adjustments from the beginning, but with encouragement from every one of us, I was able to go this far, and I am now 3 months into this trip. Last December 2022 was the most expensive month since, aside from having cataract surgery on my husband in his eye, I am paying the tuition fee of my two children who were in private school. I gave pledges to the parties of my three children and allocated a budget for several parties, including the Christmas party of my husband, my class, and our teacher's party. Even though I haven't attended but still, I contributed to the food. On the other hand, it's Christmas, and some of my relatives will visit us and ask for Christmas presents, so there must be a budget allocated for them. We've spent money on Noche Buena, and other needs. As a result, my pocket was nearly empty at that time. Still have basic needs to cater so withdrawing my hive earnings is the answer.

I purchased 25 kilograms of rice for PHP 1200.00, medicine for my husband's sugar level maintenance for PHP 2,550, and two bottles of eye drops for his eye maintenance for PHP 1,500.00. Then, I gave PHP 1,500 to my husband for his fare and allowance for going to the hospital for his follow checkup, while PHP 1500.00 is allocated for my fare and the contributions of ingredients for my training.
My hive earnings solved a total of PHP 9,930.00 of my expenses. I had PHP 826.68 left in my pocket. Hive is truly a blessing from above. As the saying goes "Everything happens for a reason".
