What do you want to hear?

Defluenced Radio currently has 337 songs in the playlist. I want to double or even triple that and I need your help to do it. I need to know what you want to hear. I want to know what kind of music you like. Especially if it's a local or unsigned band or artist. In my experience as a podcaster and in the local music scene in Michigan, USA the music from unsigned, independent and local musicians is so much better than what you find anywhere. So I will give those top priority on getting into rotation.

But I do have a few requirements!

These are some personal requirements I am placing on the music that is submitted because when it comes to music I am an audio snob.

For independant musicians

I would prefer you have the artist or band contact me so I can get the proper permission from them to play it. It is their creation and they should have the right to do it. If they are an artist on Hive make that well known. They will get priority treatment!
The recording must be near studio quality. I dont expect it to sound like they spent 10K in a recording studio. But it can not sound like it was recorded in a garage with one microphone.
If the artist has a press kit I need it. If not please put one together with as much information about them. This way I can put the spotlight on them here on the blog and in the broadcast.

For all other musicians

Just leave a comment on this post with a list of artists/bands and the songs you like most from them and I will do my best to find them and add them to playlist.

Looking into the future

I've got big plans for this little radio station. I want to make it the premier place for you to be entertained whether you are at work or at play and anytime through out your day. Some things I'm planning on include contests and other Hive & Hive-engine token give aways and many more things to come.
