Well, this has been awesome! Slept eight thirty to six thirty and an hour over a full night for the second night in a row! 🥳 Barely dragged at all today and got some solid school work done. 👍

Not too much to note regarding the usual morning routine. Pretty normal…cryptos mostly just trading sideways, consolidation phase before the next run, hopefully. Didn’t bother to make any moves on my DeFi stuff, just accumulating for now.

Was chatting over on Discord and the debt to GDP ratio came up, so I decided to look it up. The US is in banana republic territory! I don’t think Greece’s was even this high when it was a “global debt crisis!”

Printer go brrrrrr, baby! Never mind, it’s all fine.

Meanwhile, I’m a vaccine prisoner in this country and looking at institutions coming in with their mandates and people being refused healthcare based on their “obedience status.” To be completely honest, this isn’t the world I want to live in…one where people let this bio-medical security state come to pass…this Orwellian nightmare that the masses are begging for and the politicians are happy to give to cover their own asses. (But no recourse or responsibility for the pharmaceutical companies)…

Marky released an idle miner game and everyone lined up to chuck money at him. Good, I suppose, he’s invented more excuses to destroy the tokens he’s created…got to know something is quite valuable when you’re happy to destroy it!!! I’d love to smash that Fabrige Egg, cause then there are fewer and they’re more valuable! 🥴
Just leads me to wonder how many games that aren’t games at all will it take to saturate the market? Buy my stuff, click buttons, not games.

Spent some time playing Yuki on the Oculus and tried one round of Drop Dead, but I got paired with a kid who thought dinking around with melee weapons was a fun idea and so we didn’t make it very far. Posted a couple new high scores on Beat Saber and then called it quits and got to work.

Spent more time getting distracted by quizzing myself of how to prove/derive the limit and calculus rules than I really should have, but I did lay out the semester on the calendar and make some planning decisions about when and how to do the exams.

Not completely sure about using the testing center, so I decided to keep the chapter exams on WebAssign and do the Final in person on the last day. Had to go in and do a lot of editing on the syllabus and calendar since I’d changed stuff for being online, but got most of it done. There’s still a few things to do before I can get everything available for students, but I’m still a few days early. 🤓

Grabbed a quick shower and Wenche made pasta and meat sauce for dinner. We sat down to watch some Flash, but after about a minute or so the internet went out. It was out for the rest of the evening, so we watched one of the DVDs I bought a while back.

It was Kingsman The Secret Service…definitely a fun one! Kept me awake the whole time and made me giggle a couple times too. 😁 That meant I didn’t get to bed until after ten, but luckily the internet came back right before bedtime so we were able to put on Puss and Boots to fall asleep.

Speaking of “games” that aren’t games: eighty-six is eighty-nine. Classic dShitty math, but at least it’s three in my favor!

Went in a couple times on CryptoBrewmaster today. Clicked the buttons as all not games require. Collected the aroma hops I’d started and set bittering hops going. That’s the last ingredient I need right now (have a water already 😮), so I should be able to start a brew tomorrow. 🍻

Dunno, kinda’ starting to peter out somewhat on Rising Star. The shiny newness has more or less worn off and it’s just repeatedly going through the rigormoral to log in and then clicking a button. At this point I haven’t gotten much of anything from the time I’ve spent and I don’t seem to be progressing toward anything at any significant pace.

I have put some money into this, not a lot, but enough to be able to call it a loss…for now I guess I’ll just keep clicking the button whenever I remember to.

Played a bit of Splinterlands in the evening, and struggled somewhat, but then we lost internet, so I played again this morning to finish the quest.

Pretty much back and forth, no progress. Only have three days left (really only two) to get into Diamond…might have to forget it with all these rediculous rented decks.

Got Fire splinter for my quest today, but said “screw that,” rolled the dice and got three wins without neutral monsters. Had some trouble with it, but did get it done.

Garbage rewards again, but I did get one card and a couple hundred DEC (which won’t help much of anything anyway), otherwise as many worthless potions as they could possibly throw at me:
