Happy Boulder Sunday! My photos today will feature some photos that I took at Jerusalem Mill Village in Kingsville, Maryland on the Baltimore County side. I'll show you some boulders along with some closer looks at the boulders.
The water that the boulders are in is the Little Gunpowder Falls River.
We've had quite a bit of rain lately so I was a little surprised that the water wasn't very high. It is amazing not only how fast the water can rise but also how fast it can recede. One good thing about the water not being too high is that the boulders in the Gunpowder Falls are more readily seen.
This next little duo is a different kind of closer look. It is the view coming and going of some large rocks on the trail that I was on. The dark mass is actually an old portion of a tree stump but I was surprised at the big rocks hiding behind it that I hadn't even noticed till I went over the photos that I took once I got home.
I took my next photo right at the bridge and I'm happy with how it came out. It was pretty dark under the bridge so I can't say for sure if there was a troll under there or not but you never know about those trolls and where they may be lurking. All I can say is that I looked as best I could so I can't say for sure that there wasn't one under there or not..lol.
Okay! Okay! We're coming up to the end! This is a shot I took while on the bridge along with some closer looks at some boulders and rocks under the water. Whenever I take photos that show rocks and such under the water I always find myself looking for fish or anything else that may be in the water. I didn't see any in these photos but I'll have to show some other photos that do show fish and such in a future post sometime.
So I know in that last collage it was great to see those underwater rocks but I don't want to end my post with that so here is another view...
...and one edit which I did on the first photo in my post! 馃榿
Thank you @shasta for #bouldersunday!!
