Happy #aliveandthriving Sunday afternoon/evening to you, and thank you for your visit!
This afternoon I took a short 5 mile / 8.04 kilometer bike ride and while I was out I took a few photos I would like to share with you this evening.
So I started at the Park and caught the Seagull on the Pole photo of the day,
And looking past the Pole I noticed something a bit different, and yes the tides are very low!
Looking a little closer I noticed that beyond the little girl it appears a dad and son are trading off fishing poles and nets,
And indeed they are and you can see how low the tide is - not even knee deep! Also, I am not sure but in most areas here they are against "nets". It takes away from the birds and smaller fish.
Well I didn't want to seem to stare at them so I left and rode down the Channel to the Lower Breeding Pond. It is almost completely gone!
That's pretty amazing!
I left there and rode around a bit and headed up the Channel again. On the way I passed this Sunflower with a few flies on it,
A closer view,
Google is calling them fruit flies, so I will agree!
Then I rode about a half mile inland and passed "Dock Side Surfshop" - which is where they get all the Kite Surfer gear. Outside the Hibiscus was blooming so I took a few photos. This one the wind got in the way,
And this is another flower, and better photo!
And the Oleander was blooming as well! These are a little different variety then the others I have seen. This is a branch,
And a little closer view of some flowers,
After that I rode home - I was warm enough!
And that was a few photos from my #aliveandthriving Sunday afternoon!
I want to thank you again for your visit and I am Wishing you a Very Blessed, Happy, and Safe New-Week!
