All of my Boulder Sunday photos were taken at the Jerusalem Mill Village area of the Gunpowder Falls State Park Central Area of Little Gunpowder Falls in Harford County, Maryland. I also did edits to a few of them as well.
I've been to this area once or twice in the past but every time is different. For instance, on this visit the water was high which can give a very different perspective. The time of day and season can also give a different look to an area that I may have viewed before and photographed before.
While there are many rocks and boulders by the water, I did find a few along the trail as well.
I walked the trail by the water mostly and decided it was time to turn around when I came to this little creek. I could have walked to a little higher ground and taken a bridge across but I've been having some health issues and thought it best not to push myself any further. I was happy to see these boulder by the creek and I think they added to the overall beauty of the area.
On my way back I couldn't help but take a few more photos including this one. I love the way the leaf shadows played upon the rocks and water.
I found a surprise also when we (husband and I) emerged from the trail leading to the water. I spotted this beauty of a boulder hiding out just beyond some brush. I couldn't get very close to it but, hey, that is why we have "zoom" to help out with that..lol.
To end my post, I thought you might enjoy this little animated gif that I made. Happy Boulder Sunday! 馃檪
