Yesterday, I posted about decluttering your life. (https://steemit.com/health/@deemarshall/unclutter-your-life-the-easy-way)
Last night I thought of some more, easy ways to declutter that might help people.
If you ever feel that your life is too cluttered and the clutter swamps you so you never do anything about it, try using these tips :) They are quick and easy to carry out. Allow yourself 20 minutes to do a task then celebrate how you have made your life simpler!
Take a box to your bathroom. Put all the items that have expired in it and anything you haven't used for a month. Dispose of them.
Be careful disposing of meds though. Best to take them to a pharmacy who will dispose of them safely for you.
Give yourself a fresh start. I do this once a week but less often might suit you. Do all the washing and washing up; put everything away in the right place; do any ironing you have and put it away; pick up anything that's been dropped on the floor and put it away; clean or vac the floor; clear any cluttered surfaces; take out any rubbish and recycling.
It does take a whole morning but you can break it up into 20 minute sessions.
Go through your Facebook friends and unfriend anyone who isn鈥檛 your really a friend. You can also 'unfollow' people who you have friended for playing a game. They won't clutter your feed if you do this.
Make a plan of all regular medical appointments like dentist, bowel cancer checks, mammograms, repeat prescriptions, etc. They won't get lost in the clutter that way.
Go through your shoes. Donate any pairs you haven't worn for a year to the charity shop. They probably aren't in fashion anymore so you won't miss them :)
Again, try not to let it mount up again.
Take a few minutes to admire your lovely new spaces. Well done you!!!
