If you decide to ride your motorcycle to Manang in Nepal don't blindly follow all the sign boards pointing to Manang. Some of them point to the original walking trail which takes you through people's compounds.
One time we ended up in front of someone's front door and a little girl walked out to see what the noise was all about. She was shocked to see strange looking men armed to the teeth and ran in to alert her parents of the alien invasion. 😬
